It’s always fun to look at the world (or words) from a non-ordinary perspective. That’s what art director and designer Daniel Carlmatz did with language. Daniel creatively explore language through visual wordplay. During his year-long project from November 2016 to November 2017, he transformed ordinary words into clever and playful logos. He achieved this by manipulating letterforms and adding subtle elements to create minimalistic yet ingenious illustrations that carry the meaning of particular words.
Daniel’s project showcases his ability to turn words into engaging visual designs, highlighting the power of typography and graphic design in conveying meaning and creativity. His work serves as an excellent example of how art and design can be used to communicate ideas and concepts in innovative and captivating ways.
