A captivating remade world map has unveiled the top jobs people are interested in worldwide, with being a pilot ranking as the most desirable job globally. This map was created by using 12 months of Google search data and shows the names of countries being replaced by the occupations that their residents are most interested in terms of pursuing a new career.
In 25 countries, including the UK, the US, and Australia, the phrase ‘how to become a pilot’ and similar searches are the most common, with a total of 930,630 searches. ‘Writer’ is the second most popular job search with 801,200 searches, but it comes in first place in 75 countries, such as India, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Remitly, a company that offers financial services for immigrants, created the map by examining nearly 200 types of jobs and studying the frequency of searches for common phrases related to exploring new careers. Through this process, they identified the most frequently searched job on Google in each country over the last year.
