Traveling is an eye-opener. After all, that’s what learning another language is for. You learn the ways other people of different cultures express themselves. When you interact with people from different cultures, you realize there is a world of difference between your culture and theirs. Some stuff that seemed inappropriate in your culture is not inappropriate anymore and vice versa. You also learn that any human being can fit into any culture if they allow themselves to accept new ideals and standards. Also, you get to learn that people from different cultural backgrounds can coexist in the same place given they believe in the higher purposes of love, solidarity, and inclusion.
